Jameson named NWC Student-Athlete Of the Week

SALEM, Ore. — Willamette University senior outside hitter Caroline Jameson has been named the Northwest Conference (NWC) Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week. The Everett, Washington native earned the honor for her impressive performance during the season's opening weekend.

Jameson was a force on the court, totaling 45 kills over the Bearcats' four matches. She averaged 2.65 kills per set and posted a strong .227 hitting percentage.

Her standout moment came against No. 11 nationally-ranked WashU, where she led all players with 14 kills and hit an exceptional .364.

The Bearcats will continue their non-conference schedule this Friday with home matches against Pacific Union and Cal Lutheran.
