SALEM, ORE. -- Willamette University women's basketball point guard Jojo DeLong (Sr., PG, Santa Clarita, CA/Canyon HS) has been named Honorable Mention All-Northwest Conference for the 2014-15 season in voting by the NWC head coaches. It is the second year in a row that DeLong has received Honorable Mention All-NWC recognition.
SALEM, ORE. -- Willamette University freshman Marisa Hamilton (So./Fr., C, Beaverton, OR/Southridge HS) scored a career-high 32 points as Willamette University defeated Pacific University, 80-75 in overtime, at Cone Field House on Saturday, Feb. 21. The game was tied 65-65 at the end of regulation. WU finished the season with a 7-18 overall record, including 2-14 in the NWC. Pacific ended the year at 9-16 overall, 5-11 in the NWC.
McMINNVILLE, ORE. -- Katie Kalugin (Sr., G, Woodburn, OR/Woodburn HS) registered a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Ashley Evans (Fr., PG, Canby, OR/Canby HS) scored a career-high 13 points, but it wasn't enough as Linfield College held off Willamette University, 52-46, in a Northwest Conference women's basketball game on Friday, Feb. 20.

The Loggers are ranked #22 in the D3hoops.com Top 25. Jojo DeLong (Sr., PG, Santa Clarita, CA/Canyon HS) topped Willamette with 15 points and six assists. She also grabbed six rebounds. Katie Kalugin (Sr., G, Woodburn, OR/Woodburn HS) recorded a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Kalugin moved into ninth place on WU's all-time rebounding list with 442 career boards.
NEWBERG, ORE. -- George Fox University upped its record to 20-0 on the season with an 80-41 victory over Willamette University on Friday, Feb. 6 in a Northwest Conference women's basketball game at the Wheeler Sports Center. The Bruins moved to 11-0 in the NWC.
SALEM, ORE. -- Two challenging Northwest Conference games are on schedule for the Willamette University women's basketball team this week, as the Bearcats will take on a pair of nationally-ranked teams. Willamette will play at George Fox University on Friday, Feb. 6 at 6 p.m. (PST) and will return home to take on University of Puget Sound on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 4 p.m.
SPOKANE, WASH. -- Whitworth University, ranked #17 in the D3hoops.com Women's Top 25, earned a 67-51 victory over Willamette University on Saturday, Jan. 31 at the Whitworth Fieldhouse, as the Pirates improved to 18-1 on the season. Jessica Kramer led all scorers with 18 points for Whitworth, while teammate KC McConnell finished with 17 points.
WALLA WALLA, WASH. -- Willamette University held a 37-31 lead at halftime, but Whitman College rallied in the second half to defeat the Bearcats, 71-60, in a Northwest Conference women's basketball game on Friday, Jan. 30. The Bearcats trailed by just two points with 5:45 left, before the Missionaries closed the game with a 16-7 run.
SALEM, ORE. -- Coming off its first conference win last Saturday in convincing fashion, the Willamette University women's basketball team will look to ride the momentum into this weekend, as the Bearcats travel to take on Whitman College on Friday, Jan. 30 and nationally-ranked Whitworth University on Saturday Jan. 31. Tip-off on Friday will be at 6 p.m. (PST) and Saturday's game will be at 4 p.m.

FOREST GROVE, ORE. -- Pacific University received a game-high 20 points from Sarah Curl and Nani Ostrom added 13 points, as the Boxers defeated Willamette University, 60-39, in a Northwest Conference women's basketball game on Friday, Jan. 23 at the Stoller Center.
