Bearcats Shine at Portland Twilight
Bearcats dominate 400m Hurdle podium
PORTLAND, Ore. — At Lewis & Clark College, a small contingent of Bearcats competed at the Portland Twilight meet.
Anna Bikle ran in the 800m race, placing twenty-third with her time of 2:19.57 minutes. The hurdle trio of Lavender Bel, Mashani Coleman Toliver, and Juniper Ammirati competed for a second day in a row in the 400m Hurdles. Bel earned first place, with a time of 1:05.52 minutes. Coleman came in second, while Ammirati took third, the Bearcats dominating the podium. In the final race for the Bearcats, Anastasiia Lemesh placed second in the 3000m Steeplechase.
The Bearcats compete next at the George Fox Final Qualifiers, with multi competition on May 13 and other events on May 14. It will take place in Newberg, Oregon.
