Players Reach Round of 16 in Singles at Pacific Northwest Fall Championships

SALEM, ORE. -- Willamette University hosted the first day of the USTA/ITA Pacific Northwest Fall Championships in women's tennis on Saturday, Oct. 1. Action took place at the WU Tennis Courts and the Salem Swim and Tennis Club. Some matches were played indoors due to rain during the afternoon and evening.

Singles action advanced through two rounds, moving the tournament into the Round of 16, which will be contested on Sunday, Oct. 2. Doubles also featured two rounds, as the action reached the quarterfinals. The four quarterfinal matches in doubles will be held on Sunday.

Here are lists of the singles players who reached the Round of 16 as well as the doubles teams that advanced to the quarterfinals.
