SALEM, ORE. -- Willamette University women's soccer player Andrea Rowan (MF, Boise, ID/Timberline HS), who will be sophomore in 2010-11, helped her summer club team reach the quarterfinals of the Unites States Region IV Tournament in Albuquerque, N.M. Rowan plays for Les Bois of Idaho.
SALEM, ORE. -- The Willamette University women's soccer team will host a girls' elite team camp beginning August 8, 2010. Head Coach Hillary Arthur will direct the camp, with help from her assistant coaches and current Bearcat athletes.
SALEM, ORE. -- The Willamette University womenâ??s soccer team finished their season with a 9-9-2 overall record and an 8-7-1 Northwest Conference record, good for third place in the NWC. For their efforts, five individuals received All-NWC honors for the Bearcats.
FOREST GROVE, ORE. -- Ashley Kanda scored 1:13 into overtime to send Pacific University to a 2-1 win over Willamette University, in a Northwest Conference women's soccer game on Saturday, Nov. 7. The goal was scored on a 5-yard shot off a corner kick taken by Lauren Kanda.
SALEM, ORE. -- The Willamette University women's soccer team defeated visiting Pacific Lutheran University, 3-1 on Friday, Nov. 6. Willamette is now 9-8-2 overall and 8-6-1 in the Northwest Conference. The Lutes drop to 5-13-1 overall and 4-10-1 in the NWC.
SALEM, ORE. -- Willamette University senior defender Emily Wigington (Boulder, CO/Boulder HS) has been chosen Second Team ESPN The Magazine College Division Academic All-District VIII in women's soccer, as determined in voting by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). A total of 23 athletes were chosen for First Team or Second Team Academic All-District VIII recognition.
SALEM, ORE. -- Senior forward Rachel Janny (Olympia, WA/Olympia HS) scored a goal on a 5-yard header with 1:15 remaining in regulation to help Willamette University rally for a 1-1 tie with Whitman College in a two-overtime game played on Saturday, Nov. 1 at Sparks Field. The Bearcats moved to 8-8-2 overall, 7-6-1 in the Northwest Conference. Whitman went to 7-9-2 overall, 6-8-1 in the NWC.
SALEM, ORE. -- Whitworth University defeated Willamette University, 2-1, in a Northwest Conference women's soccer game at Sparks Field on Saturday, Oct. 31. Whitworth moved to 14-3 overall, 11-2 in the NWC. Willamette went to 8-8-1 overall, 7-6 in the NWC.
TACOMA, WASH. -- Janece Levien scored her 17th goal of the season with 1:12 remaining in the first half, and the University of Puget Sound went on to defeat Willamette University, 3-0, in a Northwest Conference game on Sunday, Oct. 25. Puget Sound, ranked #5 in NCAA Division III, improved to 14-1 overall, 11-1 in the NWC. Willamette moved to 8-7-1 overall, 7-5 in the conference.

On Sunday, Oct. 18, it was sophomore Stephanie Skelly (MF, Poulsbo, WA/North Kitsap HS) who provided the game-winning goal against Lewis & Clark College. The Bearcats defeated the Pioneers, 1-0.
