Women's Golf Competes at NWC Spring Classic
Saida Seelig tied for 27th place individually
LAKEWOOD, Wash. — Competing as an individual, Saida Seelig finished tied for 26th at the NWC Spring Classic with a total score of 172 (+28) over two rounds at Oakbrook Golf and Country Club. The senior carded rounds of 85 (+13) and 87 (+15) on the par-72 course.
Willamette University participated in the NWC Spring Classic held at Oakbrook Golf & Country Club in Lakewood, Washington. The event, played on a par-72 course stretching 5,604 yards, included teams from across the Northwest Conference. Willamette's Saida Seelig, competing as an individual, finished tied for 26th place. She recorded a two-round total of 172, finishing 28 strokes over par.
Seelig opened with an 85 in the first round, followed by an 87 in the second round. Despite not being part of a full team entry, her performance was notable against the competitive field. The overall team standings saw George Fox claiming the top spot with a final score of 610.
