Begins his senior season as a Bearcat swimmer ... Set a Willamette record in 1:53.82 in the 200-yard backstroke in 2014 ... Ranks third on Willamette's all-time list in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:57.99 ... Competed in the 100 Backstroke, 200 Backstroke, and the 200 Individual Medley in the 2016 NWC Championship ... Placed sixth in the 200-yard backstroke and finished 8th in the 100-yard backstroke at the 2015 Northwest Conference Championships to earn him Second Team All-NWC Honors ... As a freshman, finished fourth in the 100-yard backstroke and was sixth in the men's 200-yard backstroke at the NWC Championships in 2014 ... Was 13th in the 200 I.M. ... Also a member of the men's 400-yard medley relay team which placed fourth ... Competed in four years of water polo and swimming at nearby West Salem High School ... Was a three-time District Champion for swimming in the 100 backstroke and placed fifth in the state championship his senior year ... Valedictorian of his graduating class and was a member of the National Honor Society ... Majoring in Sociology and Women & Gender Studies with a minor in Asian Studies ... Son of Bill and Tobi Masei.
