SALEM, ORE. -- The Willamette University men's and women's swimming teams have received the Scholar All-America award from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the spring of 2014. The award requires a team semester grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
SALEM, ORE. -- The Willamette University men's swimming team achieved a successful 2013-14 season on its way to taking fifth place at the Northwest Conference Championships. The Bearcats finished in front of the other three NWC teams from Oregon and defeated all three of those teams in dual meets.

PORTLAND, ORE. -- The Willamette University Bearcats defeated Lewis & Clark College in menâ??s swimming, 112-87, on Saturday, Jan. 18, while the Pioneers won the womenâ??s competition, 133-71, at the Zehntbauer Swimming Pavilion.
FOREST GROVE, ORE. -- The Willamette University men's swimming team won the 400-yard freestyle relay in the final event of the night to clinch a 105-95 victory over Pacific University in Northwest Conference action on Friday, Jan. 17 at the WU Natatorium. The Pacific women's team defeated the Bearcat women's squad, 140-62.

Competitors swam head-to-head in some events and against time in two or three heats in other events. The entire meet was scored as a double-dual with three sets of team scores.
PARKLAND, WASH. -- Pacific Lutheran University remained undefeated in men's and women's swimming as the Lutes defeated the Willamette University Bearcats on Saturday, Nov. 16. The Lute women's team won 164-40 and the PLU men's team gained a 148-57 victory.
