SALEM, Ore. -- Members of the Willamette University men's tennis team will begin the 2023-24 season by taking on Jessup University (Calif.) at the WU Tennis Courts on Saturday, Sept. 16. The match is scheduled to get underway at 1 p.m. PDT.

The Bearcats' roster includes eight returning players for Willamette. Those players are Trey Allen (Jr., Tucson, AZ/BASIS Tucson North HS), Luca Casano (So., Honolulu, HI/Punahou School), Spencer Chase (So., Silverton, OR/Silverton HS), Andrew Kabacy (Grad., Vancouver, WA/Skyview HS), Andrew Kropp (Sr., Bend, OR/Summit HS), Andre Leif (Jr., Anchorage, AK/West Anchorage HS), Velibor Mladenovic (So., Belgrade, Serbia/First Belgrade Grammar School), and Quentin Nigbur (Sr., Newberg, OR/Newberg HS).

New players for the Bearcats are AJ Avansino (So., Reno, NV/Reno HS), Kai Morgan (Fy., San Isidro de Heredia, Costa Rica/European School), and Zack Olander (Fy., Bend, OR/Summit HS).

Tyler Linscott is in his third season as the director of tennis at Willamette and the head coach of the men's tennis and women's tennis teams.
