SALEM, Ore. -- The Willamette University men's tennis team, which will play an exhibition match against College of the Desert on Friday, March 16, has added a match against Sonoma State University on Sunday, March 18 to complete the California trip. Both matches will begin at 11 a.m. (PDT).
Willamette will take on College of the Desert in Palm Springs on Friday. The match will not count against Willamette's win-loss record because the NCAA does not count results against two-year colleges.
The Bearcats will battle the Seawolves from Sonoma State at the Claremont Country Club in Claremont on Sunday. Sonoma State competed in NCAA Division II and the PacWest Conference, while Willamette is a member of NCAA Division III and the Northwest Conference.
Willamette is 2-4 on the season. College of the Desert is 8-2 and Sonoma State is 7-2.
