SALEM, Ore. — Willamette University fell to Whittier College 3-0 on Sunday at Sparks Field. Whittier capitalized with two first-half goals and added another in the second half to secure the victory. The Bearcats' defense faced pressure throughout, as the Poets' offense generated 25 shots, 8 of which were on target.
Mikkel Jensen made five saves in goal, facing 25 shots throughout the match. Ky Iliev led the Bearcats' offense with five shots, including one on target. Rory McKee contributed offensively with a single shot on goal.
