LA VERNE, Calif. — Willamette University and the University of La Verne played to a 0-0 draw on Monday at Lower East Field. The Bearcats recorded four shots with two on goal, while the Leopards managed eight shots with three on target. Both teams' goalkeepers secured two saves each, maintaining clean sheets throughout the match. Willamette committed eight fouls compared to La Verne's six, with the Bearcats receiving one yellow card and the Leopards two.
Mikkel Jensen stood out in goal for Willamette, recording two saves against eight shots, preserving a shutout in 90 minutes of play. Ky Iliev led the offense with three shots, two of which were on target, contributing to the team's attacking efforts.
