Papajohn and Olson name All-Region
2026 NCAA Division III PING All-Region Teams Announced
HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. — Willamette University men's golfers Brock Olson and Alexander Papajohn have been named to the 2026 NCAA Division III PING All-Region Team for Region VII, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
The Bearcat duo are among a prestigious group of student-athletes from 58 schools nationwide to earn all-region honors this season. The selections recognize the top-performing collegiate golfers in the country across seven geographic regions.
AJ Papajohn, currently ranked 49th nationally, led the Bearcats this season with a win-loss percentage of 85.69% and an adjusted scoring average of 71.77. Over 22 rounds of play, Papajohn secured five Top-3 finishes and recorded 72 birdies. He was particularly effective on Par 4s, where he maintained a 3.98 stroke average.
Brock Olson earned his all-region nod following a consistent campaign that saw him reach a national ranking of 67. Olson posted an adjusted scoring average of 72.44 and delivered three Top-3 finishes for the Bearcats. A strong starter, Olson averaged 71.40 in opening rounds and finished the season with a 426-86-12 head-to-head record.
The PING All-Region teams are coordinated by the NCAA in conjunction with the GCAA. Region VII includes top programs from across the West, highlighting the high level of competition Olson and Papajohn faced throughout the 2025-26 schedule.
