SALEM, Ore. — For the second consecutive week, Willamette University's Tanner Overby has been named the Northwest Conference (NWC) Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week. The sophomore guard continues a historic run of form, leading the Bearcats to a pair of crucial road victories over the University of Puget Sound and Pacific Lutheran University.
Overby's back-to-back honors come on the heels of a four-game stretch where he has scored 30 or more points in every contest, cementing his status as one of the most prolific scorers in the conference.
A Weekend of Elite Efficiency
Overby's dominance this weekend was highlighted by a career-defining performance in Tacoma. He shot a staggering 71.8% from the field over the two-game road trip, converting 23 of his 32 attempts.

At Puget Sound (88-78 Win): Overby exploded for 38 points, fueling an 11-0 solo run and helping the Bearcats secure a 10-point victory over the Loggers.
