Peter Saldana joined the coaching ranks in 2025 as an Assistant Coach at De Anza College, marking his debut in collegiate coaching. A 2018 graduate of Menlo College with a degree in Finance, Peter was a versatile contributor for the Oaks from 2015 to 2018, playing Catcher, Outfield, and First Base. During his time at Menlo, he was a key part of the 2015 and 2016 squads that set back-to-back records for the winningest seasons in program history.

Following his collegiate career, Peter embarked on an extensive professional international journey. From 2022 to 2024, he competed across the globe in Austria, Australia, Czechia, and Germany. His international tenure was highlighted by winning the Finkstonball Home Run Derby in Austria and being named the Prague Baseball Week MVP during a prestigious national team tournament in 2022. Peter brings this global perspective and championship pedigree to the Willamette dugout.
