Dwight Adams played football, basketball and baseball at Willamette. He was named All-Northwest Conference three times in basketball. He helped Willamette win the NWC basketball championship in 1929-30 and 1930-31, including a 26-point game against College of Idaho in 1930. As a baseball second baseman, he hit over .300 during his sophomore season. Adams was the president of the Lettermen's Club in 1930. He was inducted into the NAIA District 2 Hall of Fame in 1963 and received an Alumni Citation from Willamette in 1966.
